Become predictive to get ahead of the curve

As we often see in our partnerships, we have a role at different stages. We have been able to identify the three main categories where most companies have been in need of assistance. The first category is creating insights, which exists of three steps:

  1. Defining the story an app, website, customer, client or employee is experiencing and what we can learn from it.
  2. Determining the data needed to answer the question, understand a journey or confirm a hypothesis. Setting up the hooks and tags to actually unlock the data without having to engineer in later steps.
  3. Analysing the data and creating the insights.

The second category is turning insights into actions. How can you use insights to forecast events, aid in making decisions or optimise user experience. When you are able to explain why something happened, you’ll become eager to be able to predict what is going to happen.

The third is automating such actions, by creating an automated action based on the forecasted events a company can become prescriptive. By using predictions and forecasts to automate the actions you take after receiving insights from your data, you will get ahead of the curve.
